New Home

Well, we have a new home on the internet for all things Strong Brothers.

It’s nothing fancy, but hopefully a little more streamlined and we’ll to bring our various projects under one (virtual) roof.

At the old Blogspot site, we’d put up a blog post announcing a screening or some new info and a few days later — without fail — somebody would send me a tweet or a message asking for the very info we’d posted.

So actually, what I hope this new site will do is free up the blog for less informational or promotional posts and more…discursive ones. Essayistic. At the old site we’d write almost exclusively about our own projects. I’m hoping to shake that up a bit and get more into film more broadly.

Like…why I hate Tim Burton. And super hero films.

My random thoughts on soundtracks. Movie posters.

Maybe we’ll start a regular feature where Shiloh and I debate a movie. (We rarely disagree about what’s good and bad, but man, when we disagree, we DISAGREE. It can get ugly. Maybe we’ll post videos of that.)

I’ll probably end up writing things that have nothing to do with films or filmmaking, too. Maybe these things will still interest you.

Chances are the text on the blog will be mostly me…Shiloh is less prone to sitting down and writing out his ramblings. But hopefully he’ll get into the spirit and post some of his photos or drop by with a gem every now and then.
